Leaving behind the huge chaos of last week, the plan for this weekend was supposed to be recovery and rejuvenation, but then Santa brought Bellitta, so everything went off track again.
Since it became clear during the week that the weekend’s freedom would again lead to a scandal, the crisis management team gathered on Friday, and the preparations for Saturday’s premiere started so smoothly that by Friday, everything was already in motion for the event.
This year, Santa brought Bellitta under the tree, and by ‘under the tree’, we mean the Fabrika. Since we had to miss her previous performances due to various unexpected crisis situations, it was clear that we had to see the show this time or she would seriously hunt us down. Besides, I was already curious about what the jacket number was.
Recovering from the wreckage of Friday, a late before party followed, and another premiere came up because this before party also served as of a semi-house opening. There was a festive atmosphere, and we were meant to enjoy ourselves without ruining the Christmas tree , ideally. OK, the Scandinavian traveler naturally jumped into the tree from the start, and from there, they took a sip by sip approach to the tree, just to make sure something was happening with it, given how beautifully it was decorated for Christmas.
Despite all resistance and sabotage attempts, we managed to get to the venue much earlier than the show we were interested in, but we thought, ‘what can go wrong at the Fabrika, the vibe will be good, we’ll be fine.’
Upon arrival, you get a Santa hat to enter, because they pay attention to these things here, and the primary goal is for you to have a great time and feel the real club atmosphere without any unnecessary hassles. Great sound, darkness, smoke, and really, all we need is good music.
Now, let’s talk about the music, since it was mentioned. When we arrived, some guy was playing live, but with the usual arrival rituals, by the time we were ready, he was already done, so we have no idea what it was like.
The start of the following set seemed like a bit of aimless pounding to me, but we weren’t in the right mood yet. However, around the time of Born Slippy, it started to click for us, and the story began to become more appealing.
Then came the main act, and the real fun began. Honestly, since we’re on good terms, even if it had been shit, I’d praise it, but I have to say that the hour or so we got to hear was really great. As promised, the proper techno came, which was a real refreshment in the current sea of trash (though I must note, December has been filled with some great techno events, but that’s how the techno winter goes). Unfortunately, we couldn’t stay for the acid part because when Mulero was on, I felt like it was time to say goodbye, since I’d still have a nice flute performance on the way home with BKV, which turned out to be true because the vehicles were running quite erratically, don’t know why.
Here is the full set from BELLITTA :
The next mission will be the Casino Bangkok, which I already promised to the ticket collector dude last time, and it looks like there will be some nice fun again with some good music…
